Credit cards with no international fees are exactly what the name suggests, they are cards that allow you to shop overseas - whether online or in person - without incurring foreign (or international) transaction fees.
An international (or foreign) transaction fee is charged to you by your credit card company whenever you buy something in a foreign currency. While most of these charges are incurred while travelling overseas, it’s important to keep in mind that they can also be added to your credit card bill when you make a purchase online from a foreign vendor. By having a credit card with no international transaction fees, you can avoid this extra charge.
Credit cards with no overseas (or foreign) transaction fees can mean big savings for those who frequently transact in foreign currencies - for example, if you travel overseas frequently or shop on international websites.
